Execution Burndown

The Execution Burndown gadget allows you to view the graphical representation of the total number of cases left to be executed and the total time it will take to execute them.

Steps to Add Execution Burndown Gadget

Step 1: To add the execution burndown gadget, simply click on the Edit button on your selected dashboard.

Users can add the execution burndown gadget at the time of dashboard creation and also while editing a dashboard. The image below is of the Edit mode.

Step 2: On the right-side panel, enter Execution Burndown into the Add a Gadget field. 

Step 3: Click on the Add button for the AIO Tests- Execution Burndown gadget. 

Step 4: Once you click on the Add button, the Execution Burndown gadget will be added to your dashboard. Enter the required details into their respective fields. 

  • Project: Enter the project name into the Project field. 

  • Cycle: Click on the Cycle field and select a cycle from the drop-down list.

  • Users can only specify one project and one cycle at a time in the execution burndown gadget. However, if you want to view the burndown report across multiple cycles/projects, the same gadget can be added multiple times.

  • Users have the option to see the details in both the graph and tabular format or just one of them by ticking/unticking the checkboxes for Display options- Show selected Cycle, Show graph, and Show details. This gadget is for the AIO Tests Execution Burndown report.

  • If only a graph is selected, the table will not be displayed and vice-versa. 

  • Users also have the option to select the refresh interval, which determines the frequency at which the dashboard should undergo updates, by clicking on the Refresh interval field. By default, the refresh interval is set to None. 

Step 5: Finally, click on the Save button.

Once you click on the Save button, the below output will be displayed on the screen. 

  • Users can also manually refresh the dashboard by clicking on the Refresh option from the ellipsis located at the top right corner of the AIO Tests- Execution Burndown gadget.

  • All columns in the grid can be clicked to view additional details, except percentages.
