Search, Filter & Sort Sets

This content is archived.

AIO Tests allows users to manage their sets as per their preference effortlessly. Whether you want to search for a specific set or want to filter out the sets that you want to view or perform some actions on it, the test management tool lets you do it with ease.

Users have the option to search, filter and sort sets from the Sets grid and Cases grid on the Set Details page.

In this documentation, you’ll understand:

Search

AIO Tests allows users to search sets in the test management tool with the click of a button. To search a set, users just need to enter a set key or title. Once the user starts entering the key or title, all the related sets will be displayed on the screen.

Filter

AIO Tests allows users to filter the sets as per their requirements by using the Filter button. Users have the option to use filters like Key, Folder, Owner, Created, Component, and many more. By filtering sets, you can not only review the sets efficiently, but also narrow down sets as per specific criteria for analysis. However, if you don’t want to use any filters, simply click the Clear All (X) button. It will remove all the filters applied to sets. Users can also hide the filters icon by clicking on the filters icon.

The below screenshot shows the list of sets displayed after applying a filter of Owner as “Aman” and Release as “Release 1”.

Users have the option to add or remove filters at any time by clicking on the Add or Remove Filters button.

Users have the option to save filter combinations of their choice by simply clicking on the Save Filter button. Once they save filter combinations of their choice, they can reuse them across the project.

Filters will be saved individually based on the entity being filtered. The filter saved for Sets will be visible only on the Set listing.

Users can also update the saved filters with new selections. To do this, you need to select a filter from the Add or Remove filter button and click on the Update Filter button.

If cases of multiple projects have been added to the Set, users can also add the project filter on the Set Details page from the Set detail page (as shown below).

Sort

AIO Tests allows you to sort the sets on any of the columns that have been added to the Sets listing by simply clicking on the header field of the column.

By default, sorting is based on the Key in ascending order.

The below screenshot shows the list sorted in descending order of Key.
