Create/Add Sets to Cycles

AIO Tests allows you to create/add sets to existing cycles with the click of a button. Whether you want to create a cycle from a single set or want to add a set of cases to an already existing cycle of the current project or any other project that they have access to, the test management tool lets you do it with ease.

Steps to Create Cycle from a Set

Step 1: To create a Cycle from a Set, simply click on the Sets option in the top bar menu.

Step 2: On the Sets page, right-click on the set for which you want to create a cycle and hit the Create Cycle option from the drop-down menu.

Users can also create a cycle of existing sets from the Set detail page.

Step 3: Once you click on the Create Cycle button, the Create Cycle modal window will appear on the screen with all the details of the set.

Users have these two options to choose from:

Create Cycle: Clicking on the Create Cycle button will create the cycle with the selected set added to it.

Add Cases: By clicking on the Add Cases button, you can add more cases to the cycle either from the current project or other projects using the project selector drop-down list.

Users can also select the version of the case that they want to add to a Cycle by clicking on the version drop-down and ticking the check box for it.

If the case's status, after being added to the set, is modified, then an information message is displayed above the title field, informing about the number of cases which are modified (non-published) and those cases cannot be added to the cycle.

Step 4: Once you add cases, click on the Assign Users button to assign testers to the added cases.

Step 5: On the Assignee page, select the desired cases that you want to assign to a particular user and bulk assignment can be done for the selected cases. Users can click on the Go to Executions option to start executing the cycle.

Once you click the Go to Executions option, you will be navigated to the Cycle Details screen.

Steps to Add a Set to a Cycle

Step 1: To add a set to cycle, all you need to do is click on the Sets option in the top bar menu.

Step 2: On the Sets page, right-click on the set that you want to add to a cycle and hit the Add to Cycle option from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Once you click on the Add to Cycle option, the Add to Cycle modal window will appear on the screen. Select the cycle(s) to which you want to add the set.

Step 4: Finally, click on the Add to Cycle button.

Once you click on the Add to Cycle button, a success message will be displayed on the screen saying, the set has been added to cycle(s) successfully.
