Editing a Cycle
AIO Tests allows you to update the information related to the Cycles you have created. On this test management tool, you can not only modify the cycle-related details such as its name, folder in which you want to save the cycle, owner, etc. but can also update the cases in a cycle.
In this documentation, you’ll understand:
Steps to Edit a Cycle
Step 1: To edit a cycle, simply click on the Cycles option in the top bar menu.
Step 2: On the Cycles page, right-click on the cycle that you want to edit and hit the Edit option from the drop-down menu.
Users can also edit the cycles from the Cycle detail page.
Once you click on the Edit option, the Cycle Details tab will open in Edit mode. The cycles page will have 3 tabs- Details, Cases and Execution.
Details: In the details section, you can edit the details of the selected cycle including the Title, Objective, Folder, Owner, etc. Users can also update custom fields (if defined).
If you made any changes in the Cycle Details tab, you first have to click on the Save button to make further changes in the Cases section.
Cases: The Cases section contains the summary of cases added in a cycle. In this section, users can review the existing cases that are added to cycles using filters, search and column selector options. Users can also edit cases by clicking on the Manage Cases vertical ellipsis at the top right corner of the screen. In the Cases section, users can perform 6 actions, including Creating new cases, Adding existing cases, Locking cycle scope, Reordering cases, Bulk assigning users, and Bulk removing cases. Find more details on these actions here.
Users have the option to go back and edit the initial details by clicking the ‘Details’ tab. Users can also make single-case assignments by clicking the highlighted pencil icon.
Execution: In the execution section, users can review the execution-related information for each of the cases added to that particular cycle. For more details, click here.
