Release Notes

New features, enhancements and minor bug fixes are listed below for each release done so far for AIO Tests.

 

20th July, 2026 → Data Center: v4.9.7

New Features

  • Delete test case versions.

  • Bulk update test case custom fields via Import Edited Steps.

  • Open test cases directly in cases listing from report drill-downs/case associations/Jira panel/My Work.

  • Edit one or more cases directly from the Jira panel.

  • View an overall Run Summary in Jira panel for cases linked to a Jira issue.

  • Copy run links directly from the Cycle Execution screen.

Enhancements

  • Create a new test case version via the Update Case API.

  • Update Case API and Create Case API now honor attachments provided in the API request body.

  • Restrict user selection to people added under "Project settings > People" in Jira will now also be applicable for user @mentions.

27th June, 2026 → Cloud: v4.9.7

Features in this release will be available in the app once you update to the latest version
(Jira Admin - Connected Apps page should show version 14.0.0 for Forge customers after the update)

  • AIO Tests & AIO Tests Assistant for Rovo now support Data Residency for US & EU Regions

  • Edit one or more cases directly from the Jira panel.

  1. Go to Jira Settings and select Marketplace Apps.

  2. Click on Take me there.

  3. Locate AIO Tests and click on ‘View App Details’.

  • GitLab CI/CD integration: Users can now Trigger their GitLab workflows from AIO Tests.

  • Ability to auto start timer when a run moves to In-Progress.

    • Note: Timer start preferences can be configured via My Settings.

  • Ability to Bulk Close cycles.

  • Ability to Update BDD/Gherkin cases from Scenario Editor with pre-filled details.

  • Claude AI Integration: Users can now generate test cases using AI via Claude.

  • Added the ability to configure and use custom fields as automation custom fields.

New Features

  • AIO Tests MCP Server: Ability to use an MCP server, allowing external AI models to access and manipulate AIO Tests data.

  • Claude AI Integration: Users can now generate test cases using AI via Claude.

  • Added the ability to configure and use custom fields as automation custom fields.

Minor Bug Fixes

  • An issue with the auto-linking of Jira requirements while creating issues has been fixed.

    • Note: Automatically linked Jira requirements will only be visible after the issue is created.

New Features

  • Ability to set default values for all cases before generating cases via AI.

  • Control AI features: Added the ability to turn ON/OFF the AI integration in AIO individually at project and instance level.

  • Cycle History: Users will now be able to see history for Cycle Detail changes and addition/removal of cases.

  • Defects filters: New filters added on Cycle Execution screen to analyze cases with defects.

  • New Public API’s added-

Enhancements

Mandatory Platform Upgrade

AIO Tests has been migrated to the Atlassian's Forge Architecture.

Note:

  • This update is mandatory to continue receiving future app updates and support.

  • The update must be performed manually by a Jira administrator.

  • After the update, you might not see the AIO Tests widget on Jira issue view, please follow the gif below to fix it

Action Required: (you can share the video with your Jira Admin as well)

  1. Go to Jira Settings and select Apps.

  2. Select Manage apps.

  3. Locate AIO Tests.

  4. Click Update.

New Features

  • Ability to set default values for all cases before generating cases via AI.

Enhancements

  • Create new Tags API enhanced to honor Case/Set/Cycle Create/Edit permissions.

  • Storage manager enhancements:

    • Attachment Size and Type filters added.

    • Pagination improved for attachments cleanup.

  • AIO Tests framework upgraded from Connect to Forge.

 

 

4th March, 2026 → Data Center: v4.9.1.2

Enhancements

  • Improved JCMA Attachment Upload Speed: Optimized the attachment migration process to enhance upload performance and reduce overall migration time when using JCMA.

  • Attachment Files Cleanup: Introduced a cleanup mechanism to identify and remove unreferenced attachments from the server, helping reduce storage usage.

  • Cycle Execution New View - A new ‘Split Layout’ View has been introduced allowing users to execute one case at a time.

  • Custom Run status icons - Users will now be able to customize run status icons/colors from the given range via project settings.

  • New Report: Run Step Assignee report added to view run step assignee distribution as per selected criteria for one or more cycles.

  • Users will now be able to delete folders if all cases/cycles inside them are archived.

  • Audit log entries will be recorded for Cases/Sets/Cycles folder deletion
