Search, Filter and Sort Cases
Filtering, searching and sorting help to quickly view the cases that you are interested in.
Search
You can search for cases in AIO Tests using key, title or automation key or do an advanced search on Steps, Comments and Description. Below screenshot shows the list of cases on entering “3”
Filter
Users can use filters like Key, Owner, Component, Release, etc. to help in reviewing Cases. If you don’t want any filters, you can simply select “Clear All” which removes all the applied filters. By clicking the filters icon the filters will be hidden.
Below screenshot shows list of cases displayed after applying filter of Automation Status as ‘Not Assigned’ and Jira Requirements (set as ADP-15, ADP-1, ADP-8).
Users can also save filter combinations of their choice using the save button, and simply reuse the saved filter combinations across the the project by selecting from ‘Saved Filters’ dropdown.
Filters will be saved individually based on the entity being filtered. Case saved filters will be visible only on cases listings, similarly cycle and set filters will be shown for cycle and set listings respectively.
Saved filters can also be updated with new selections, to do this select a filter, click on save, here from the dropdown you can select the update option.
Sort
Cases can be sorted based on any of the columns that have been added to the listing by clicking on the header of the column.
The below screenshot shows the list sorted in descending order of Priority.
The default sorting is based on Key in ascending order
