Users can customize the default issue type to use while creating a defect at the Run or Step level from Cycle details page. They can also specify if they wish to add any AIO fields to the description of the defect being created. This gives user more flexibility while creating defects from AIO Tests.
The option is available from the cog icon on top right under Project Settings. The page has 2 options
Default Jira issue type selection: This dropdown is populated with all the Jira issue types available for the project
Additional Case details, Case Step details and Cycle details selection: This area lists all AIO test case, case step and cycle fields that are enabled via the Field Configurations page along with the custom fields applicable for Cases and Cycles
Users can select the “Default Jira issue type” to be used while creating defects and specify the additional case details to include in the description.
Once these are set, anytime a new defect is created from “or Create new issue” link from cycle details page, the settings will be used to create the defect (shown below)
