AIO Tests allows you to customize the Defect Pie Charts graph in the execution summary report. Whether you want to change the Jira Fields to show the defect pie graphs for a single Execution summary report or want to customize the Jira Fields for a multi-cycle execution summary report, the test management tool lets you do it with ease.

Steps to Report Preferences 

Step 1: To report preferences, click on the Gear icon and select the Project Settings option from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: On the Project Settings page, click on the Report Preferences option in the sidebar menu.

Step 3: Click on the Primary Field dropdown list to select the Jira Fields on which the Primary Defect Pies need to be generated.

  • By default, Status is selected for the Primary defect graphs. 

  • Any single select custom field (Select List - single choice OR Dropdown) created in Jira will be available in the options.

  • If instead of Status or Priority, some other Jira field would make more sense for the project, then that Jira Field can be selected. For ex: If your project uses a custom field Severity, instead of Priority, then you can change the value of the primary field.

Step 4: Click on the Secondary Field dropdown list to select the Jira Fields on which the Secondary Defect Pies need to be generated.

  • By default, Priority is selected for the Secondary defect graphs. 

  • Any single select custom field (Select List - single choice OR Dropdown) created in Jira will be available in the options.

Once the changes are Saved, the Defect Summary section in the Execution Summary and Multi-cycle Execution Summary will start showing the Defect Pies as per the selected field.

Users can also choose to turn off the generation of the graphs by selecting None in the dropdown.
