AIO Tests lets you view and edit the case details without actually opening a case. Whether you want to view the complete basic details of a case in a separate tab right-side panel of cases listing or want to edit the steps quickly, the test management tool lets you do it with ease.

Steps to View Right Side Panel of a Case

Step 1: To view the right side panel of a case, all you need to do is click on the Cases option in the top bar menu.

Step 2: On the Cases page, click on the test case row (other than the case key) for which you want to open the right side panel.

Steps to Open Case in a New Window

Step 1: To open a case in a new window, all you need to do is click on the Cases option in the top bar menu.

Step 2: On the Cases page, click on the test case row (other than the case key) that you want to open in a new window.

Step 3: Once you click on the test case, a right-side panel window will open up with some quick details. Click on the new tab icon to open the test case in a new window.

Cases Grid

Step 1: To edit case steps, simply click on the Cases option in the top bar menu.

  • Add a Step: By clicking on the plus icon (+), you can create a new row below your steps and add details of the new step. 

  • Attach Files: To attach documents/images at the step level, click the Attach File icon from the ellipsis. A dialog box opens, allowing users to attach or upload new documents for the selected step. Find more details here.

  • Link other case: To link another case, first click the plus icon (+) to create a new row. On the new row, click the link case icon from the ellipsis. In the modal that opens, you can search for the case to be linked with the help of a key/ title or using any of the filter options.

  • Copy Steps from Other Cases: Users can copy steps already written for other cases into the case they are on. Users can also copy steps from cases of other projects. Find more details on the Copy steps here.

  • Duplicate Step: By clicking on the Duplicate Steps icon, a new step will be created and the information of the step from which the icon has been clicked will be copied into the new step.

  • Delete a Step: Users can delete a step in the editing mode. The step is marked for deletion with an option to revert to it as long as the user is in Edit mode.

  • The final deletion happens with the click of Save or click of Save & Close. Users can delete a linked case of another project even if they don't have access to the actual linked case.

  • Users can update their test case steps and fix grammatical mistakes in them by clicking on the AI button.
