AIO Tests allows you to create different versions of a test case within the same test issue with the click of a button. With this feature, you can easily manage, track, and review different test case versions and changes over time.Whether you want to mark specific milestones of a test case by creating versions or want to have multiple active versions simultaneously so that they can be executed independently, the test management tool lets you do it effortlessly.

Step 2: On the Cases page, click on the case key for which you want to create a new case version.

Step 4: Once you click on the Create new version button, the Create new version modal window will appear on the screen. Click on the Create button.

Users have can tick the option checkbox to replace the existing version of the Case present in Sets with the new version.

Step 1: To access case versions, click on the desired case key on the Cases page whose versions you want to view.

Step 2: Click on the drop-down next to the Create new version button and select the case version that you want to view.

Actions Performed by Default on the Latest Case Version

Here’s the list of some actions that are performed on the latest case version by default:

  • Cases Grid actions 

  • Filters

  • Export Casesactions: In Cases, all the grid actions, namely Open Case to New Tab, Copy Case Link, Edit, Copy, Move to, Create Cycle, Add to Cycle, Create Set, and Add to Set, can be performed on the latest case version by default. 

  • Filters: In the case of test cases, the filters are automatically applied to the latest case version by default. 

  • Export Cases: In Cases, users can export the latest version by default. 

  • Import Edited Cases Steps: The import edited steps feature works on the latest case version by default. 

  • Export Cases Steps: If user want to export cases steps, they can export the case steps for the latest case version. 

  • Bulk Copy Cases: In the case of bulk copy cases, the latest version of the test cases will be selected by default.

  • Import Cases to Other Project: Users can import the latest case version to other projects by default.
