Users have the option to search, filter and sort cycles from the Cycles grid and Cases grid on the Cycles Execution Details page.
In this documentation, you’ll understand:
Search
AIO Tests allows users to search test cases, sets, and cycles in the test management tool with the click of a button. To make a specific search, users just need to enter a key or title. Once the user starts entering the key or title, all the related results will be displayed on the screen.
The search bar is available for cases, sets, and cycles. Here, we are showing the search filter bar for Sets.
Users can also search the test cases in the test management tool using the automation key search bar along with the case key or title.
Users can do an advanced search for specific cases on Steps, Comments, and Descriptions.
Filter
AIO Tests allows users to filter the test cases/sets/cycles as per their requirements by using the Filter button. Users have the option to use filters like Key, Folder, Owner, Created, Component, and many more. By using the filtering option, you can not only review cases/sets/cycles effectively, but also narrow down the options as per specific criteria for analysis. However, if you don’t want to use any filters, simply click the Clear All (X) button. It will remove all the applied filters. Users can also hide the filters icon by clicking on the filters icon.
The filter option is available for cases, sets, and cycles. Here, we are showing the filter option for Sets. The below screenshot shows the list of sets displayed after applying a filter of Owner as “Noopur Varshney” and Release as “Release 2”.
Users have the option to add or remove filters at any time by clicking on the Add or Remove Filters button.
Users have the option to save filter combinations of their choice by simply clicking on the Save Filter button. Once they save filter combinations of their choice, they can reuse them across the project.
Filters will be saved individually based on the entity being filtered. The filter saved for Cases will be visible only on the Case listing. Similarly, the filter saved for Sets and Cycle will be visible on the Set listing and Cycle listing respectively.
Users can also update the saved filters with new selections. To do this, you need to select a filter from the Add or Remove filter button and click on the Update Filter button.
If cases of multiple projects have been added to the Set/Cycle, users can also add the project filter on the Set/Cycle Details page from the Set/Cycle detail page respectively (as shown below).
Here, we are showing the project filter option for Sets.
Sort
AIO Tests allows the users to sort the test cases/sets/cycles on any of the columns that have been added to the Cases/Sets/Cycles listing respectively by simply clicking on the header of the column.
By default, sorting is based on the Key in ascending order.
The sort option is available for cases, sets, and cycles. Here, we are showing the sort option for Sets. The below screenshot shows the list sorted in descending order of Key.
