AIO Tests allows you to manage Automation Statuses with the click of a button. Whether you want to create new automation statuses, reorder existing ones, or edit/delete a few, the Test Management Tool lets you do it effortlessly.

In this documentation, you will understand:

Steps to Add a New Automation Status

Step 1: To add a new automation status, simply click on the Gear icon and select the Project Settings option from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Click on the Automation Statuses option in the sidebar menu.

Step 3: On the Automation Statuses page, click on the Add button.

Step 4: Enter the name of the new Automation Status into the Automation Status Name field. Click on the Type field and select the type from the drop-down list. 

Step 5: Finally, click on the Save button.

Steps to Edit Automation Status Name

Step 1: To edit the Automation Status name, click on the Pencil icon for the Automation Status you want to edit and change the name.

Step 2: Finally, click on the Save button.

Steps to Reorder Automation Statuses

Step 1: To reorder Automation Statuses, all you need to do is click on the Reorder button.

Step 2: Drag the Automation status using the drag handle icon for the Automation statuses that you want to rearrange and drop it on the position you desire.

Step 3: Finally, click on the Done button.

Steps to Delete an Automation Status

Step 1: To delete an automation status, click on the Delete button for the automation status that you want to delete. 

Step 2: Once you click on the Delete button, a confirmation modal window will appear on the screen. Select an alternative automation status where you want to move the existing cases with the deleted automation status and click on the Delete button. 

  • Deleted automation statuses cannot be recovered. This is an irreversible operation.

Once you click on the Delete button, deleted automation statuses will be displayed in the right box for some time. Deletion of an automation status is done via a batch job that runs every 5 minutes. While the status is marked for deletion, users cannot delete the specified alternative status.

At least one automation status of type Automated should be present.
