AIO Tests allows you to create cycles from an existing case with the click of a button. Whether you want to create a cycle from a single case or want to add a single case to a cycle, the test management tool lets you do it with ease. On AIO, you can also add multiple cases to a cycle without creating it from scratch.

In this documentation, you’ll understand:

Create Cycle from a Single Case

Step 1: To create a Cycle from a single Case, simply click on the Cases option in the top bar menu.

Step 2: On the Cases page, right-click on the case for which you want to create a cycle and hit the Create Cycle option from the drop-down menu.

Users can also create a cycle of existing cases from the Case detail page.

Step 3: Once you click on the Create Cycle button, the Create Cycle modal window will appear on the screen with details of the case populated.

Users have these two options to choose from:

  • Create Cycle: Clicking on the Create Cycle button will create the cycle with the selected case added to it.

  • Add Cases: By clicking on the Add Cases button, you can add more cases to the cycle either from the current project or other projects using the project selector drop-down list.

Step 4: Once you add cases, users can click on the Assign Users button to assign testers to the added cases.

Users can click on the Save button if they don’t want to assign users to cases at the time of creating Cycles.

Step 5: On the Assignee page, select the desired cases that you want to assign to a particular user for bulk assignment. Users can click on Go to Executions option to start executing the cycle.

  • If all cases have to be assigned to the same person, the top checkbox can be clicked and bulk assignment can be done. The assignments can happen later too from the cycle details page.

  • Users can save the details by clicking on the Save button.

  • Users have the option to go back and add more cases by clicking the ‘Cases’ tab or edit initial details by clicking the ‘Details’ tab.

Once you click the Go to Executions option, you will be navigated to the Cycle Details screen.
