Add Case to a Set

A case can be added to an existing set from the Cases tab (3 ways) as well as from the Set itself. The case can be added to the existing set of the current project or to existing set of some other project. In all the options, only those cases will be added to the set that have a status that is eligible to be added to Cycle and Set. Also, they are only added if they are not already present in the specified set.

Add a Single Case to a Set

If a single case needs to be added to an existing set, user can right click on the case row from the Cases listing as shown below and select “Add to Set”.

Users get the option to choose the project and the set to which the selected case will be added. Users can either type the set title/key or use filters to select a single or multiple sets to which the case will be added. Using the project selector drop-down, users can add the case to set of another project also. A success message is displayed upon clicking “Add to Set” in the modal below.

Add a Folder of Cases to a Set

The same process can be done on a folder of cases too as shown below. In the scenario here, only 5 published cases will be added to the specified sets.
