A case can be added to an existing cycle from the Cases tab (3 ways) as well as from the Cycle itself. The case can be added to the existing cycle of the current project or to existing cycle of some other project.

In all the options, only those cases will be added to the cycle that are in Published status. Also, they are only added if they are not already present in the specified cycle.

Add a Single Case to a Cycle

If a single case needs to be added to an existing cycle, user can right click on the case row from the Cases listing as shown below and select “Add to Cycle”.

Users get the option to choose the project and the cycle to which the selected case will be added. Users can either type the cycle title/key or use filters to select a single or multiple cycles to which the case will be added. Using the project selector drop-down, users can add the case to cycle of another project also.

A success message is displayed upon clicking “Add” in the modal above.

Add a Folder of Cases to a Cycle

The same process can be done on a folder of cases too as shown below. In the scenario here, only 2 published cases will be added to the specified cycles.
