In order to promote reusability of cases and having a modular design, AIO Tests offers the ability to link cases as steps of other cases. The action to link cases is available at the time of case creation (Steps page) and also while editing a case (Steps tab).
Draft cases are not available for linking. Only cases with status ‘Under Review’ or ‘Published’ can be linked to other cases.

To link another case, follow the steps below
Click ‘+' to create a new row below the row on which '+’ was clicked
Click the link case icon on the newly created row as shown above. The row changes to show a project selector, selected project’s folder drop-down and a search box. The project selector will only show projects that the user has access to
Search the case to be linked using the search box by typing the key/title or narrow it down by selecting a folder and then using key/title. The search box and the folder drop-down show data related to the selected project
Select the case to be linked by clicking on it
Once the case has been selected, it gets added with a “Show Steps” option. Click Show Steps to see the steps of the linked case as shown below. Show Steps becomes Hide Steps once clicked. The steps of the linked case are shown indented to increase readability of the case.
