If you are planning on moving to AIO Tests from XRAY, follow the steps in this article to get your existing test cases imported in AIO Tests.

Get Xporter app
To export test cases with all the steps in XRAY, Xporter app is required. Please follow the below steps.
Go to Apps → Find new Apps
Search for Xporter and start the free trial
Once installed, click on Manage App
Enable XRAY Integration
To use Xporter for XRAY test cases, the integration between the two apps needs to be setup. Please follow the below steps.
From the Manage Apps section of XRAY, open the tab API Keys
Create a new API Key for your user by clicking on “Create API Key” button on top right
Copy the Client Id and Client Secret
From the Manage Apps section of Xporter, click on Integrations page
Click on Configure to setup the XRAY integration (you will be asked to paste the Client Id and Client Secret)
Upload the template for Xporter app
To get the steps of each of the test case, a special template is needed. The template is attached here and can be downloaded.
To upload it, please follow the below steps
From the Manage Apps section of Xporter, click on Templates page and click on Add
Upload the attached file and give a name to it. A success message will be shown once the template is available for use
Search & Export “Test” issue type
Export will need to be done project by project. Please follow the below steps for each project you need to export cases from.
In Jira, go to Filters → Advanced Issue search
Create the filter as shown below (replace ADP with your Jira project key)
Click on the Xporter icon (highlighted)
Choose the uploaded template from the Template drop-down and click on Export
Download the file once available.
Import in AIO Tests
Go to AIO Tests for the project whose test cases were exported. Please follow below steps to import cases into AIO Tests.
Go to Cases tab and click on Import Cases
Upload the file with exported cases from XRAY
Review the mapping
Click on Save
Review and update the Data Mappings, as relevant
Click on Import
Once the process finishes you can review the details in the Jobs tab and also review cases in Cases tab of AIO Tests.
While importing into AIO Tests, there will be some warnings as the process tries to process each row for all the cases. You can ignore them; the data will still be imported as expected.
