My Settings area allows users to set personal preferences for AIO Tests app. This area will grow as we add more features to AIO Tests.
Accessing My Settings Area
This area is accessible from the top-right gear icon as shown below.
Available Options in My Settings
Currently, there are 3 options in this area: Email Preferences, API Token & Theme.
Email Preferences
Email preferences allow users to choose if they would like to be notified via email for various events in AIO Tests.
Events that trigger Email notifications
All the email settings are turned “ON” for everyone by default, and can be turned “OFF” if needed.
1. When a user is tagged
Users can set, if they should receive email notifications, when tagged in a comment.
Users also have the option to control if they want to get notified multiple times for the same comment, if the comment is edited.
Please note, users can be notified for the same comment even if this is turned off, by removing them from the comment, saving the comment and then re-mentioning the user. Every new mention of a new is considered as the first mention.
2. When a user is assigned a case in a cycle
Users can set, if they should receive email notifications when they are assigned to a case. All the new assignees will be updated by email, except for the cases where the user is assigning themselves. For single assignments, one mail will be sent for each assignment update and for Bulk assignments, all the links to the entity(s) updated will be mentioned in one mail.
3. When a user is assigned as Automation Owner for a case
Users can set, if they should receive email notifications when they are assigned as automation owner for a case. All the new assignees will be updated by email, except for the cases where the user is assigning themselves. For single assignments, one mail will be sent for each assignment update and for Bulk assignments, all the links to the entity(s) updated will be mentioned in one mail.
