On the Cycle execution view, you can view the list of all the cases that are added to the cycle for execution. It also provides a lot of information related to the cases added to the cycle such as Case key, title name, assignee name, defects, case status, comments, attachments, and the number of runs associated with each case.

Cases Grid Actions

AIO Tests allows users to view information and perform different actions on the cases grid such as edit cases, remove cases, view case details, and many more

Case Details: AIO Tests allows users to view the case details on the cycle execution page. To view case details, all you need to do is click on the Case Details button (i) along with the title name (displayed by hovering over a case row). Once you click on the Case Details button, a right-side panel window will open up with some quick details of the case. Users have the option to open the case in a new window by clicking on the new tab icon and can view the steps by clicking on the View Steps button on the right-side panel.

If a case was updated after it was added to the cycle, a message will appear on the panel informing users about the availability of a newer version. A version will be created when the title, steps, estimated effort, preconditions or description of the case are updated. To see the updated changes in the cycle, the user will need to ‘Add Run’ (discussed in detail here). If the latest version is not in the cycle, an icon also appears to the left of the case key in the grid.

Users also have the option to use the latest case version and copy the run results and values from the previous run to the new run.

  • Add/Edit Assignee: On AIO Tests, users can change the assignee for the cases that are added in the cycle for execution from the Cycle execution screen. To edit/add the assignee, click on the pencil icon next to the Add run column (displayed by hovering over a case row) and select the name of the assignee from the displayed list.
