The Execution Distribution gadget allows you to view the cycle execution progress by different parameters. By using the information provided in this gadget, managers can prioritize their work to meet their testing goals.

Steps to Add Execution Distribution Gadget
Step 1: To add the execution distribution gadget, simply click on the Edit button on your selected dashboard.
Users can add the execution distribution gadget at the time of dashboard creation and also while editing a dashboard. The image below is of the Edit mode.
Step 2: On the right-side panel, enter Execution Distribution into the Add a Gadget field.
Step 3: Click on the Add button respective to the AIO Tests- Execution Distribution.
Step 4: Once you click on the Add button, the Execution Distribution gadget will be added to your dashboard. Enter the required details into their respective fields to view coverage and execution details.
Project: Enter the project name into the Project field.
Cycle: Click on the Cycle field and select the cycle(s) from the drop-down list.
Users can only specify one project in the execution distribution gadget. However, if you want to view the execution distribution report across projects, the execution distribution gadget can be added multiple times.
Users can select one or multiple cycles of the selected project in the execution distribution gadget input window.
Users also have the option to specify a dynamic filter for cycles by changing ‘List’ to ‘Filter’.
Users can choose the distribution criteria which includes user assignment, tags, priority, requirements, case type and all the case/cycle custom fields.
Users have the option to customize the look of the execution distribution output by ticking/unticking the checkboxes for Display options- Show selected Cycle list, Show Case distribution, Show effort distribution, and Show Cycle execution.
Show selected Cycle list: Users can choose whether or not the cycle keys and titles are displayed as part of the execution distribution output.
Show Case distribution: Users can choose if they wish to see the graph of the execution status of cases in specified cycles as part of the execution distribution output.
Show Effort distribution: Users can choose if they wish to see the graph of estimated effort/remaining effort distribution in the execution distribution output.
Show Cycle Execution: Users can choose if they wish to see the table with details for specified cycles in the execution distribution output.
Users also have the option to select the refresh interval, which determines the frequency at which the dashboard should undergo updates, by clicking on the Refresh interval field. By default, the refresh interval is set to None.
Step 5: Finally, click on the Save button.
Once you click on the Save button, the execution distribution output will be displayed on the screen. The below image shows the sample output for one of the projects and its cycles where distribution was by ‘User Assignment’ and all display options were selected.
Users can also manually refresh the dashboard by clicking on the Refresh option from the ellipsis located at the top right corner of the execution distribution gadget.
