Installing & Enabling AIO Tests

AIO Tests is a Jira-native QA Testing and Test Case Management app covering the entire QA lifecycle with Test Cases, Cycles, Reports, Automation and many more. It allows users to track and monitor a set of testing activities and streamline the entire QA Testing process to facilitate the efficient identification and resolution of bugs and issues.

Steps to Install AIO Tests (Cloud)

Step 1: To install AIO Tests, simply open your web browser and go to marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1222843/aio-tests-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview  

The AIO Tests app is available for the “Data Center” hosting version of Jira also. Only a site admin or an authorized user with relevant permissions can install the app from Atlassian Marketplace. 

Step 2: On the AIO Tests Jira Marketplace page, click on the “Try it free” button located at the top right corner of the page. 

Step 3: Once you click on the Try it free button, the Add to Jira modal window will appear on the screen. Click on the “Start Free Trial” button.  

Step 4: Once the installation is completed, a message will appear at the bottom left corner of the screen saying, “AIO Tests: QA Testing and Test Management in Jira installed successfully”. Click on the “Get Started” option in the success message. 

Step 5: Select the desired project from the Projects drop-down list and click on Enable to start using AIO Tests for the selected project.

Steps to Enable AIO Tests

Step 1: To enable AIO Tests, simply click on the Projects option in Jira’s top bar menu and select the View all Projects option from the drop-down menu. 

Step 2: On the Projects page, select the desired project in your Jira instance. 

Step 3: Click on the AIO Tests option in the sidebar Menu.

Step 4: Click on the Enable button to start using the AIO Tests app for the selected project. 

Users need to enable AIO Tests for each project separately. If users have not enabled AIO Tests for their selected project, a screen will be displayed to enable AIO Tests. 

Once you click on the Enable button, the AIO Tests app will be enabled for the selected project and the below screen will be displayed. 

The AIO Tests testing tool has 5 tabs- Overview, Cases, Sets, Cycles, and Reports (AI tab is in Beta mode). To read more about the concepts behind Cases, Sets and Cycles, click here
