Case Associations

AIO Tests lets you view where all a Case has been used in the entire app - to which cases it is linked, in which sets it has been added, in which cycles it has been executed and what defects have been found by executing a case.

In this documentation, you’ll understand:

Steps to View Case Associations

Step 1: To view a case association, simply click on the Cases option in the top bar menu.

Step 2: On the Cases page, click on the case key for the case you want to view associated/linked/added Case, Set or Cycle.

On the Associations section, you can see other Cases, Sets or Cycles with which that particular case is associated/added/executed.

The selected Case’s information is divided into 4 tabs- Cases, Sets, Cycles and Defects

  • Cases: It displays the list of cases where the selected case has been linked as a step including cases from other projects.

  • Sets: This tab displays the list of the sets in which the selected Case has been added including sets from other projects.

  • Cycles: It displays the list of the cycles in which the selected Case has been added for execution including cycles from other projects. The list also displays the cycle start and end date and the latest Run information like Run #, last execution status, date of last execution, who executed it and number of defects associated with the Run.

If there are multiple runs in a particular cycle then clicking on “Older Runs” will show the previous runs of the case.

  • Defects: It displays the defects (created in Jira) associated with the selected Case. Defects created in other projects that are linked to the case are also shown
