Manage Cases- Bulk Actions
AIO Tests allow users to manage their cases added to cycles for execution with ease. Whether you want to change the status of multiple cases together or want to add new runs to multiple cases at the same time, the test management tool lets you do it effortlessly.
In this documentation, you’ll understand:
Steps to Change the Status of Multiple Cases within Cycle
Step 1: To change the status of multiple cases, simply click on the Cycles option in the top bar menu.
Step 2: On the Cycles page, click on the desired Cycle key from where you want to change the status of cases.
Step 3: Click on the Bulk Actions button.
Step 4: Tick the Cases whose status you want to change.
Step 5: Click on the Change Status button.
Step 5: Once you click on the Change status button, the Change status modal window will appear on the screen. Click the checkbox next to the fields for which you want to update the status. Enter/select the new value that the field should have.
Step 6: Finally, click on the Update button.
Steps to Add Run for Multiple Cases
Step 1: To add a run for multiple cases, all you need to do is click on the Bulk Actions button.
Step 2: Tick the cases to which you want to add new run. Once you have ticked the cases to which you want to add new run, click on the Add New Run button.
Step 3: Once you click on the Add New Run button, the Add New Run modal window will appear on the screen. On the Add New Run modal window, users get the option to fetch the latest version of the cases as well as to copy the results from the previous run to the new run being created. Finally, click on the Add button.
Users also have the option to copy the specific latest run results to the new run such as custom fields, defects, attachments, comments, and step assignments.
Once the user clicks on the Add button, a message will display on the screen saying, “Runs added successfully for the selected cases.”
Steps to Edit Multiple Latest Runs
Step 1: To edit the multiple latest runs together, simply click on the Bulk Actions button.
Step 2: Tick the cases whose latest runs you want to edit. Once you have ticked the cases whose latest runs you want to edit, click on Edit Latest Runs button.
Step 3: Once you click on the Edit latest runs button, the Bulk edit latest runs modal window will appear on the screen. Click the checkbox next to the fields for which you want to edit the latest runs. Enter/select the new value that the field should have.
Step 4: Finally, click on the Update button.
