Delete a Case

There might be situations in which a case is no longer needed or the requirement has been changed and the case is not valid anymore. You can delete such cases from the AIO Tests app to keep your data organized.

A case once deleted cannot be recovered.

Users can delete a case either from the cases listing on the Cases tab or from the Case Detail page as shown below

On clicking “Delete” from either of these pages, a confirmation message is displayed for the user.

On clicking the ‘Delete’ button, if the case is not added to any set or cycle for execution or linked as a step in other cases, it will be deleted. If a case is associated with a set or cycle or linked as a step in other cases, the user will see the below error message.

This error message prevents user from deleting a case by mistake that is selected for execution. If a user still wishes to delete this case, all references from cycles, sets and cases where the “to be” deleted case is linked have to be removed and then user can delete that case.
